Display SIM APN Setting Screen

Display SIM APN Setting Screen. APN - Access Point Name. The APN defines the network path for all cellular data connectivity. By default, when the SIM card is inserted, it is not recognized and the APN settings screen is not displayed. After changing the settings to Automatic, the SIM card will be recognized automatically and the APN settings window will be displayed Functions\Activate the APN setting display screen of the SIM card.

Pace-Car Indicators "Urban Joke"

Pace-Car indicators - the rear turn signals on the outer and inner tail lights will blink one after another. Functions Enable or disable Urban Joke mode. Requirements LED taillights must be installed in the vehicle.

Turn Signals Blinking With Rear Lights

The rear turn signals will blink including backlights one after another. Requirements are that the vehicle must have LED lights

Lane Assist

Lane Assist will help to steer your vehicle and keep you in the correct lane with gentle steering correction and – after a period without human input – a visual and audible warning

Brake Assist Settings

Brake assist - active vehicle safety feature designed to help drivers come to a stop more quickly during an episode of emergency braking. Adjust the intensity of brake assist feature: Early, Normal, Late.

MMI Communication via Smartphone

MMI - Multi Media Interface Your smartphone can be like a personal hotspot for the MMI system instead of the SIM card installed in the vehicle. Using Wifi sharing for the head unit you can use the features of AUDI Connect. Functions Connect to your smartphone instead of the vehicle SIM card.

VAG Video in Motion

Activate the VAG Video in Motion feature and play movies for your passengers through DVD.

Brake Power Amplifying

You can adjust your brake force with the same amount of paddle travel by setting the strength of the braking. The stronger power of braking - the higher number you need to select. Adjust the brake power in numbers from 0 (soft) to 8 (strong).

Straight Ahead Brake Stabilization

SECURITY NEIMA ABS Usually, the car uses brake stabilization to avoid losing control. You have the option to deactivate the slip control when you are driving extremely fast. Enable or disable the brake stabilization on extreme driving

Green Engineering Menu

Enable green Engineering Menu, granting access to Developer Menu, which provides diagnostic details about functionality and allows to test them.

Exhaust Flap Deactivation

The exhaust flap valve is used to quieten exhaust sound at lower RPMs/normal driving by limiting exhaust flow. You can deactivate the valve to leave it permanently open or closed. For improved engine response, increased torque and a more sporty sound, deactivate the flaps while in dynamic mode. Functions ON - exhaust flaps active OFF - exhaust flaps inactive.

Adjust ACC in 1 kmh steps

ACC - Adaptive Cruise Control Increase or decrease speed in increments of 1 km/h when using ACC +/- switches.

Green Engineering Menu

Enable green Engineering Menu, granting access to Developer Menu, which provides diagnostic details about functionality and allows to test them.

Scandinavian DRLs

Scandinavian DRLs - Both DRL and tail lights are ON simultaneously. This function is mandatory in Scandinavian countries, except cars from 2009 which can be equipped with daytime running lights without the need for tail lights to be on. DRL - Day Time Running Lights Functions ON - Scandinavian DRLs is on. OFF - Scandinavian DRLs is off.

US Style Turn Lights

Turn on front turn signals to work like as side marker lights. The brightness can be adjustable. Functions OFF - US Style Turn Lights function is off ON - 20% - Adjust Turn Lights brightness to 20% ON - 40% - Adjust Turn Lights brightness to 40% ON - 60% - Adjust Turn Lights brightness to 60% ON - 80% - Adjust Turn Lights brightness to 80%

Throttle pedal response

Increase response speed of the Throttle Pedal.

Brake Pad Warning

Brake Pad Warning - when the brake pad light is on, the sensor in the brakes has determined that the brake pads are too thin.

DRL Activation / Deactivation

DRL - Daytime Running Lights ON/OFF

Start/Stop System Deactivation

Start/Stop system - automatically shuts down and restarts the engine to reduce the amount of time the engine spends idling, thereby reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

Second phone support

Allows connecting two phones to the car Multimedia System.

Mirror dip

Mirror Dip - activation of automatic passenger mirror dip with reverse gear, providing visibility to the lower side of the car and helping see the edge of the sidewalk when reverse parking, by simplifies parking. When driving away and speed exceeds 15 km/h mirror automatically readjusts to normal position.

High beam memory

High Beam Assist - dips your high beam automatically to improve driver control and safety for both the driver and other road users. The system is automatically activated when travelling over 37mph with your dipped beams on. This application allows to activate memory of the position of high beam assistant after ignition OFF/ON.

Lock/Unlock acoustic confirmation

This application will activate Acoustic Alarm Lock and Unlock tones. Having this activated on your vehicle will allow you to walk away from your vehicle knowing that its secure.

DRL settings in head unit

This functions unlocks DRL settings within your car function settings.

MirrorLink in motion

MirrorLink in Motion - Allows the PASSENGER to watch videos on multimedia while the vehicle is moving by removing the restriction of MirrorLink function while the vehicle is moving.

Video in motion for MIB

Allows passengers to watch multimedia videos while the car is moving.

Auto lock

This application will allow the vehicle to lock automatically whilst the keys are out the vehicle and all the doors are closed.

Soundaktor

Soundaktor (German for "sound actuator") is a vehicle audio system used to simulate engine noise in the cabin of some automobiles. It consists of a speaker mounted on the firewall between the engine and the cabin, which adds noise to the cabin in order to replicate the driving experience of older vehicles that had lower levels of sound insulation. This one-click application will allow adjusting the sound of the sound actor.

Oil temperature in DIS

Activate Oil temperature indication in DIS. Oil temperature gives information when the car has really reached the operating temperature. DIS - Drivers Information System.

DRLs off with handbrake

In most countries, it is mandatory to have daytime driving lights to be on when the car engine is on. When the hand brake is on (assumes the car engine is off), the lights are switched off to avoid draining the battery. DRL - Daytime Running Lights.

Windows function from remote

Open or Close windows via Keyfob.

Central lock with IGN

Have your doors automatically unlock as soon as your engine shuts off.

Open door alarm

Warning tone with ignition is on when any doors are still open.

XDS interaction

XDS - Electronic Differential Lock In moments of fast cornering XDS gives out exactly the right amount of power providing pressure on the inside wheel to prevent wheel spinning. The result is better traction and a reduction of any tendency to under steer. Adjust XDS settings: STANDARD WEAK MEDIUM STRONG.

Seat belt warning

FUNCTION OFF - Disable Seat-Belt Warning EU - Continues Seat-Belt Warning USA - Seat-Belt Warning repeats 6 times and stops.

Comfort turn signal

Increase number of indicator flashes when you turn on turn signal.

Headlight NAR restriction

Removes restriction on headlights of 4 lights turned on at the same time (i.e. cornering lights with fogs on), and headlights will raise ever so slightly at faster speeds. NAR - North America Region. FUNCTION Turn ON or OFF Headlight NAR restrictions.

DRL Function with Turn Signal

DRL - Daytime Running Lights When the headlights are on and the turn signal is switched on, the DRLs go off (or dim) on the turn side. They turn back on when the turn signal is switched off. This feature is also commonly known as front DRL Pulse or wink. Functions Enable or disable the DRL switching with turn lights, or choose the dim option.

ESC off permanently

Electronic stability control - a computerized technology that improves a vehicle's stability by detecting and reducing loss of traction (skidding). ⚙️ FUNCTION Change ESC button operation or turn it OFF completely If vehicle do not have physical ESC button settings can be changed via car multimedia by going to Car > Settings > ESC System ⚠️

Lap Timer

This application activates Lap Timer in your vehicle cluster/dashboard.

Headlight washer

Turn On/Off headlight washer system.

Air recirculation memory

Air recirculation memory - Vehicle remembers if air recirculation setting was ON, next time ignition is turned ON. ⚙️ FUNCTION Turn ON or OFF Air Recirculation Memory 📖

Gauge Test/Needle Sweep

Gauge Test/Needle Sweep - sweep the gauge needles through their full range automatically on your dashboard when you turn ignition on. ⚙️ FUNCTION Turn ON or OFF needle sweep on your vehicle.

The hill start assist

The hill start assist is holding the vehicle when the foot brake is released by temporarily locking the brake pressure (for a maximum of 1.5 seconds) to provide comfortable starting without rolling back. Hill start assist will operate greater on inclines than 5% and is fitted in combination with both: the manual transmission and the direct shift gearbox (DSG). ⚙️ FUNCTION Adjust Hill Start Assist sensitivity

NAR - North America Region EU - Europe Change the workflow of tail lights when the EU tail lights have been retrofitted to NAR vehicles

LED license plate lamps
